What is the currency of the site?

The default currency of the website is in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). Chinese Yuan (CNY), United States Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR) and Japanese Yen (JPY) indications are available for your reference within the purchase flow. Please note that ALL transactions would be in Hong Kong Dollars, except WeChat Pay and Alipay, which would be in Chinese Yuan.

Will there be any time limit when I buy tickets on-line?

The system will hold the seats offered to you for 10 minutes. If online transaction is not complete within the allotted time limit, the seats will be released back to the system for the next potential buyer.

How can I order my tickets online?

Please follow the steps below to order ticket online:

  • 1. Enter the event page and click "Buy Tickets" button
  • 2. Select Event Date, Session, Ticket Category, Quantity and Seat Location, etc. options that you prefer.
  • 3. Enter the Attendee Name(s) in the Additional Info session (as it appears on ID)
  • 4. Log in to your Existing Account or Register for a new account
  • 5 .Select your preferred payment method and enter your payment details then click on "Pay"

Once the transaction is completed, you will receive the Purchase Confirmation Email to your registered email account.

How many maximum tickets can I buy?

The maximum tickets that you can buy is dependent on the rules set by the event organizer, which may vary from event to event. For more information, please go to the event detail page.

What does General Admission (GA) mean?

General Admission is a term to describe admission tickets where there is no reserved seating at the venue.

Is there a minimum age to access? Do the children have to be accompanied?

Can I buy wheelchair tickets if I am not a wheelchair user?

No, wheelchair tickets are designated to wheelchair users and their accompanied minders. Each wheelchair user is entitled to purchase a maximum of 1 minder ticket at the same time (remarks: subject to the setting condition of each event). Event venue and organizer reserved the right to refuse admission without refund, in case of non-wheelchair user holding "Wheelchair" ticket for admission. The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the venue’s and the organizer’s discretion followed by the terms of admission.

Are there nominative tickets? Is there any ID check at the venue?

Yes, the tickets are all nominative. You have to provide the name(s) of the attendee(s) when processing the purchase (as it appears on ID). On the event day, venue access control reserves the right to ask ticket holder to present ID Card or Passport for identity verification. The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the venue’s and the organizer’s discretion followed by the terms of admission.

What are the payment methods to buy the ticket?

AsiaWorld–Expo allows you to make payments using a variety of methods including:

  • - PayPal
  • - Apple Pay
  • - WeChat pay
  • - Alipay

How do I receive the tickets? When will I receive it?

In general, you will receive the E-ticket(s) through the confirmation email once the purchase is complete. However, for some events, tickets will not be delivered immediately due to promoter’s decision. For more information, please go to the event detail page.

How do I download my tickets? How should I present it at the venue?

In general, once your order is completed, you will receive a confirmation email with your E-tickets attached. You can present the QR code on your mobile device and have it scanned at the venue entrance to access the event. In addition, venue access control reserves the right to ask ticket holder to present ID Card or Passport for identity verification. The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the venue’s and the organizer’s discretion followed by the terms of admission.

I did not receive the confirmation email, what should I do?

If you did not receive the confirmation email, we recommend you to check the spam folder and junk mail first to ensure that it was not automatically filtered out by your email service. If you still do not see the email, please contact our Customer Service for further assistance. We would need your registered email address and phone number.

Where can I check my order(s)?

You can review the purchase history at your personal page after logging in to your account. You can enter the personal page by clicking your name on the top right corner, then click "Tickets" to review your order(s).

Can I cancel or exchange my purchase?

No cancellation or exchange is allowed once purchase is complete.

What happens if I forget or lose my ticket?

Please contact our Customer Service. To expedite resolutions to lost / stolen tickets, please prepare the followings before contacting us:

  • - Full Name
  • - Registered Email Address
  • - Transaction Number
  • - Event Name
  • - Number of Tickets Purchased

Can I book tickets with two or more browsers at the same time?

We strongly recommend our customers to use one browser only while booking through our website. Otherwise, the transaction details may be interrupted while processing. AsiaWorld–Expo WILL NOT be responsible for any consequences such as misplaced order or double booking.

Why can I sometimes see better seats available later?

When a patron selects seats online, those tickets are reserved for 10 minutes for the customer to confirm the purchase of those seats. If the customer decides not to purchase, or the decision exceeds time limit, those seats will be released and are available again to other customer.

Can I buy tickets until the event day?

This depends on the organizer’s decision that varies from event to event. For more information, please go to the event detail page.

Do I get refund if the event is postponed or cancelled?

If the event is postponed or cancelled by the promoter or venue, refund instructions will be posted on event detail page. For more information, please go to the event detail page.

What should I do if a black rainstorm warning or typhoon signal no. 8 or above is hoisted by HK observatory on the event day?

Please contact the venue or the event organizer for the specific arrangements.

Is there any barrier-free access available?

AsiaWorld-Expo provides a full range of amenities to assist those with disabilities for their enjoyment including:

Entering AWE:
  • - Parking bay available for drivers with disabilities
  • - Ramped at all entrances for wheelchair users
  • - Tactile guide path provided to access different places in the venue

Inside AWE:
  • - Wheelchair spaces are provided for general events for wheelchair users participation
  • - Spacious guest lifts readily accommodate wheelchairs and access to all floor. Braille and tactile signs are provided inside lifts
  • - Toilets with special design are provided for the disabled
  • - Visual fire alarm system is equipped throughout the venue

Is there public parking available?

There are 600 parking spaces available at the SkyCity Carpark (near the venue's West Entrance) for private cars and motorcycles only.

On normal days, a standard rate of HK$20 is charged for each parking hour The all-day rate is HK$90 (8:00am - 8:00pm) and the 24-hour rate is $160.

Can I come in and out the venue during the event?

All users are required to present their IDs and tickets for scanning to enter and exit the events. If you leave the event without scanning your ticket, you will be rejected from re-entering the event.
